Yes, it is and thank you so much! Initially we hosted here as we had no budget, but we have come to enjoy the community. If you ever need verification, we are partnered with Canadian Blood Services and can provide documentation. I can also send our charter and other webadmin IDs. -Thanks again.

Yes, it is for a charity that I run with others. I hope that is not problem? We promote stem cell donorship for cancer patients and I am one of 3 webadmins. If needs be, I can delete it and move it elsewhere?

Thank you so much! I tried creating an account and got the error that that user name exists (so I guess I have to use another username; I'd thought they could both be under the same one). After changing it, I'm getting a generic account creation error: !We're sorry, but an error was encountered during signup. Please try again later. Any ideas? BTW I really like your script: http://byrondallas.heliohost.org/php/tools/dns_records.php?domain=

Hi there, I'm not sure how to go about this, but I would like to request a secondary account on Stevie (I'm currently on Johnnie). My login here is mellofellow, I'm not sure what else is safe to post here, but please do let me know. Thanks in advance.

Summary: (1) Do I need to alter mail records in godaddy for site hosted here? (2) Do I need to do anything in cpanel here to use my BB? (3) Are there stickies I have not found? Greetings, I have read the CAQ, FAQ, wiki, and searched (unsuccessfully) and can only find things in pieces, and even at that can't find full solutions. I think these questions are not uncommon and would appreciate any links if you don't want to waste your time rehashing here. I have set up a new account (here), used the domain change script and waited well beyond 48 hours. The site went up fine, but the email did not (I think). I purchased a domain from godaddy, set the nameservers to ns1..., ns2... I did not alter the CNAME, mailservers, or MX there, and after the propogation can no longer alter DNS there. I set up email addresses here, but can't seem to get them (via webmail). For my understanding I would like to know what MX, CNAME (alias), @, etc. are. I have read up on it at godaddy and think I have a basic understanding but unclear what happens if I go off site. E.g. if I change email to here and it goes down, will godaddy lower priority MX kick in if nameservers point here? I see some sites here show records with the "www..." and others cannot: "example.com" according to http://byrondallas.heliohost.org/php/tools/dns_records.php?domain= script (which is amazing BTW). Is this related to the mail issue? Finally, I tried adding email to my blackberry which doesn't give me many options, asking only for the email address and password with no luck. Can anyone help? I appreciate any assistance.

Magically solved!

I'm receiving the following error across browsers, and computers when trying to login to cpanel from the main page: This server is currently not licensed. Please contact the server administrator. Other services available on this server such as web services are likely functioning normally. (Unknown License File Sum (has=,needed=23,length=0).)

Should have figured...

I just had a thought. In the forums we are required to post our username, server and domain sometimes. So if I want to paralyze a site, could I not just attempt a few logins and thereby lock someone out of their account? Is there a feature to reset via one's email (brute force counter not password) or security question that doesn't otherwise bother the admins?

[Solved] Suspension Despite A Recent Cpanel Log-In
mellofellow replied to Igrec's topic in Customer Service
Somewhat related: I have had similar problems with suspension when it was not merited according to the above -and even had a reinstatement courtesy of Shinryuu I believe! So my question is this: instead of bypassing any inactivity traps, is there a way to set up an automatic email reminder, maybe using cron or something? That would save everyone's time as well? Currently I have a reminder on my blackberry and use a google calendar, but is there a way to set up an aperiodic alarm, say at 25 days for example? I'm not sure if this is inline with the ToS, but it's just a thought. Okay, nevermind. Just realized this mechanism is already in place. Perhaps then a method to set when this email is sent, i.e. 25days vs. 30... -
Et voila! And merci! Worked like a charm! Thanks and thanks again, lesson learned.

Oh dear, then I guess I'm in for a wait! I guess a few days should do it? Thanks for the rapid response.

Hi there, I am having difficulty logging in and believe I've tried all the steps: 1. logging into cpanel from heliohost.org, cpanel.mydomain.com, johnny.heliohost.org:2082/login/, redirects to "invalid login" page 2. I have performed 11 successful password resets 3. put in the password manually and using cut 'n paste 4. logging into mydomain.com:2077 seems to work but sends me to a directory listing of my account structure that I can browse 5. my account does not appear in the suspended queue (at least according to renew script) 6. I've tried both http & https 7. my site is up I am on: johnny, my domain is: soumomukherjee.com, my account is: soumo Any assistance is appreciated.

Thank you kindly! -
Hi there, my account was incorrectly (I believe) suspended due to activity since December 6th in the email I received, however I know I have logged in 2 or 3 times since then. I do not believe I have violated the TOS. Username: soumo Domain: soumomukherjee.com Hostedon: Johnny Any help is appreciated.
