  1. I just read the notice about multiple accounts, and thought I should explain my situation in case my accessing more than one account from the same IP raises an alert. I set up two accounts here at work, one (advance, on Johnny) for the pre-press trade shop that hired me, and another (alpine, on Stevie) for the printing company that shares our LAN & Internet access. In addition I have a personal account that I sometimes access from here. I hope you don't consider two entities to be the same just because they originate from the same location (and have users in common); at any rate it was not our intention to violate the policy. Thank you for your consideration.
  2. I still can’t seem to log in to cPanel from the main page: I get Internal Server Error 500 No response from subprocess with exit signal: 1 cpsrvd/11.32.2.28 Server at johnny.heliohost.org
  3. I cannot seem to log in from the main page, and my FTP client is unable to load a directory. The Server Monitor site shows Johnny as unresponsive for the last couple of hours -- and getting slow for a while before that. Since I've read that the latter is sometimes unreliable, I wanted to make sure it's not just me ... is something broken? If so, any idea when it will be back up again?
  4. Excuse the stupid question, but what is the "public_ftp" directory for?
  5. Thanks for the suggestion, but the above didn't have to do with anything I saw in a browser window. At any rate, we have not received any more warnings, and our account did not get suspended. From further reading it appears the problem was that I was logging in to cpanel directly, having bookmarked one of its site-administration pages, rather than through the form at the bottom of the HelioHost front page. I will make a point of taking the latter route at least once per month. Thanks again for your attention.
  6. We recently received a notification by e-mail that said “Your hosting account at HelioHost is about to expire […] as a result of account inactivity.” Thing is, I *have* logged in to cpanel several times in the past few weeks. Could someone please check the account, and if it is indeed scheduled for suspension, set it not to be—or at least extend the grace period until this can be sorted out? I am concerned that we’ll suddenly lose access just when we need it. Thanks for your attention. (P.S. I got several “internal server error” pages while trying to register and post here.) P.P.S.
