  1. This is a really strange issue. One time it is "images/icons.png" that has the error and then I reload the page and that one doesn't have the error, but "images/refresh.png" has it that time. Does anyone know what could be causing this? I looked in JS Console: It's getting on my nerves because sometimes one image wont display and then other times another image wont display. Hopefully there's a fix to it. By the way, I'm using Google Chrome. I also tried in Safari and Firefox and they both were having this issue.
  2. Hi HelioHost! I just logged into HelioNet after not being here for a couple weeks, and wow things have changed! I just wanted to let you guys know that the new HelioNet is awesome! It's a lot faster & it has a better style. And I like how there is a notification box at the top and stuff. I'm glad you guys upgraded to a newer version of IP.Board
  3. No, I just went to cpanel.weebuild.heliohost.org but it seems to be fixed now. Should I access it on port 2082 instead?
  4. Hi When I try to open a file in the cPanel code editor I am getting this error: Details: Server: Stevie Username: pjphost URL: weebuild.heliohost.org
  5. That's just Microsoft trying to make IE9 look like the best. But I know that Chrome is much more secure - and faster - than IE9. Sorry Microsoft, but you didn't get me in your little trick. I can't use IE9 because: 1) It says "disable add ons to speed up browsing time" - um, whats the point of add ons if you have to disable them? Chrome never makes you do this - I have over 30 add ons / extensions and it never slows up. 2) It messes up Facebook and other websites sometimes 3) It has a number of bugs that I'm not willing to deal with 4) A lot of CSS3 isn't working in IE9 on my site for some reason IE9 is okay, but I prefer Chrome over all.
  6. Awesome, I'm glad it is fixed! (Sorry for the late reply.)
  7. Oh okay, thanks The ACE editor looks pretty cool... and is much better than the cPanel one EDIT: Also, just to let you know I re-did all of that work I lost. It was hard but I got it done. Let's just say that was a lesson well learned for me.
  8. http://heliopanel.heliohost.org/ is loading good for you? Hmm, not me. I'll try again tomorrow and see if it fixes itself.
  9. Oh okay. For some reason it wont load, it just keeps saying the "connection reset" error like it was for Stevie yesterday when there was that problem. Maybe there's a problem with that site because HelioNet is running good right now.
  10. I see, cool. But it wont load. Is it hosted on Johnny?
  11. No, but you could use HelioPanel instead. Oh, what's HelioPanel? It sounds interesting. I do see it in this nice little pop up navigation menu at the bottom of this forum but I can't login with it. Do I just use my cPanel login details?
  12. There is no way we can do this. The linux file system doesn't keep older versions of a file stored. If I were you, I would edit on my computer, and then upload to your site via FTP. Stuff like this has happened to me while editing stuff from the file manager, and that's why I don't use it anymore for big projects. Sorry; if there was any way I could help you, I would. Oh okay. Thank you for replying. I will be using my editor on my computer for now on, and then uploading via FTP because loosing a day's work isn't good. Do you know if cPanel will be releasing a better editor someday? Because another small problem is that a bunch of grey text appears under and the whole syntax highlighter gets messed up causing you to have to refresh in order to keep coding. Maybe they could use a better syntax highlighter someday such as CodeMirror as that one is much better for syntax highlighting. And, I understand that it isn't HelioHost's fault, and that it is cPanel's fault.
  13. I'm really mad right now... So I was in the cpanel editor doing some PHP and it was all saved when the problem happened, so it isn't my fault. My browser restarted and the editor when the page loaded back up brought the old version of the file back up and I didn't know. I made a little edit in it after my browser came back up and clicked save and it basically deleted all my changes previously because it was the older version of the file. This editor is the worst editor because it doesn't always load the newest version of a file. So now over 3 hours of work... gone Is there anyway I can restore an older version of a file? I really need to because I cannot redo all of this work, it was very very hard! Details: Username: pjphost Website URL: weebuild.heliohost.org Directory of file: .../public_html/quiz/index.php Server: Stevie I really hope this is possible. I cannot redo 3 hours of this PHP I wrote. I had a bunch of functions, and a lot of ifs that I made that are all gone and it took so long to do it all. Is there a section where I can see and restore previous version of a file or if an admin can do it? I hope so. Thanks.
  14. Those tracerts you posted seem to indicate no problems. HE is one of the biggest internet providers in north america (there are others that may be bigger, he is just *one* of the biggest). They "connect the dots" between smaller internet providers like your ISP. Okay, thanks. But, Comcast is a pretty big company. Do you just mean the ISP here and not the whole Comcast ISP? Wow this networking stuff can be a little confusing sometimes... the way the internet works is amazing. (so much servers, etc.)
  15. I'm thinking I'm going to need to download Apache/PHP because I am currently editing my PHP in the cpanel editor, but this doesn't work good... especially when I get "ERROR [object] object" after I try saving in cpanel editor when the server goes down. But then again I don't feel like re-doing all of the folders and stuff. Please get this maintenance done soon. Thanks.
  16. I'm having a lot of problems loading my site/cpanel also. It keeps saying "connection timed out" in Chrome. Here is a tracert I did in command prompt for heliohost.org: And here is a tracert to stevie.heliohost.org: After seeing these screenshots, would you have any idea if it's something to do with my network, heliohost's servers, or something else in the middle? I've tried on other networks, and this same thing happens so I don't think it is do to with the network I'm on. Also, what is Hurrican Electric? Is it a data center or something? P.S. Wow... I posted this reply and the system cut off half of it! So I had to rewrite the reply and stuff.
  17. Does anyone know why Stevie has been down for a while? This is the error I am getting: What does it mean when it says "the connection has been reset"? I don't get why the connection keeps getting reset a lot. Is there someone that is hogging up server resources or something? Stevie used to be a lot more stable then it has been lately.
  18. Congratulations Tjoene! I'm sure you'll be a good moderator!
  19. Yeah, I just tried in my PHP script. I hope it gets fixed soon.
  20. Yeah, probably. But its still not working No emails are being sent. Do you guys know why? Is there a solution?
  21. For some reason the PHP mail() function isn't working. I don't know if it's just my account or if it is everyone. My details: Server: Stevie Username: pjphost Domain: weebuild.heliohost.org It used to work and all of a sudden it quit working. If you need the code I'm using I can post that. Thanks in advance.
  22. (Thanks for deleting the duplicate post.) The server load is starting to come down a bit. Hopefully it says like that
  23. So when you click "upload" in the cPanel file manager (buttons across the top) and choose a file, it works? Hmm, it wont for me. What browser do you use?
  24. Okay. Thanks for your help. And, sorry about the 2 posts. I meant for the second post to be the main one and the first wasn't supposed to be posted at all but it still posted. It was being slow and I didn't know it had already posted.
