Krydos will help you install the server application to some extent. However, he's currently crazy about backup and Plesk installation work, so don't expect it too much. Of course, some packages are easy to install with distribution packages. My VPS was delivered with a minimal configuration running only ssh. That's what I expected.
-
Jenova and I confirmed this. I hope it won't be archived until Plesk is built. If the main account is HelioHost, yes. Until recently, HelioHost and HelioNet had to be registered separately. In addition, HelioNet has recently changed its forum system. So I signed up three times.
-
Yup? You may not understand what a VPS is. It has nothing but the OS. Web server, mail server, name server, ... required server All applications need to be installed by yourself.
-
Arvancloud was originally an Iranian service and may have been rejected at the US level. Please check the terms of use just in case: https://wiki.helionet.org/hosting/terms

No, HelioHost's shared servers (including the Tommy server) are still working. (Although cPanel is lost) https://wiki.helionet.org/misc/server-status http://heliohost.grd.net.pl/monitor/ The web will still work because you are using nmbayu76.eu.org in the main domain. $ dig nmbayu76.eu.org ;; ANSWER SECTION: nmbayu76.eu.org. 180 IN A 185.215.234.1 nmbayu76.eu.org. 180 IN A 185.215.235.1 nmbayu76.eu.org references a different server. Check EU.org and the name server service you are using. Also, please do not comment on support information. The administrator may skip the confirmation. It should be posted in the right place (You post a lot, so I think you're used to it. But...) : https://www.helionet.org/index/forum/45-customer-service/

Yeah. The answer was lacking. Currently, administrators cannot take immediate action on archives.
-
That would be a little different. cPanel and mail have stopped working, but the web and SQL are still working. The web data is completely preserved and the administrator is currently doing a full backup. You should be able to back it up separately.
-
Then we need to return to the request of aigarsplno. Do you meet this request? It looks like it hasn't been resolved yet. This will be looking for files etc.
-
I was convinced by this comment. We can expect no archive users for a while.
-
Yup? Doesn't this generate a lot of archive users? Currently, when the user logs in from www.heliohost.org, it will be a forward to HelioNet. cPanel is lost. Currently we users cannot see HelioHost tools. Is the last login still updated? We know that building Plesk can take days. This risks even me being archived. (No. I have a VPS, so I don't think there is any risk of being archived now. But...)
-
The administrator is currently working on Tommy, so it's a different server. Is the archiving cron alive? The administrator needs to temporarily stop it.
-
Tommy is backing up, but it's working normally. There will be no downtime. But there is a possibility of down at the timing of Plesk construction. However, since the backup timing may overlap with the halfway file update timing, If you are concerned about it, it is safer for you to back it up on your own. If you use a custom domain, you can temporarily move it to another server. HelioHost has announced a VPS for that.
-
Now that the work is done, the page above is working fine now.
-
www.heliohost.org includes. These are not available as this work is complete: Donate VPS Server status (Including Wiki and Discord chat, Server Monitor is working now) Also, the name server ns2.heliohost.org is also stopped because it uses the same server, but since ns1.heliohost.org is working, the name server can be resolved normally.
-
Do you know that HelioHost has lost cPanel? This stopped mail from working. Currently no email is available. For custom domain mail, you can temporarily change the server and use mail. Introduce Plesk instead. The email will now be available again.

Causes of not receiving emails from Gmail
balloons replied to balloons's topic in Technology and the Internet
This post was information on cPanel. HelioHost lost cPanel and chose Plesk instead. The name server record may have changed due to this effect. -
Plesk supports both Apache and nginx. https://docs.plesk.com/en-US/obsidian/administrator-guide/web-servers/apache-and-nginx-web-servers-linux/apache-with-nginx.70837/ Perhaps some users need .htaccess, so Apache will continue to be the main operation. However, the administrator seems to be thinking about the possibility of introducing nginx. Certainly, the processing speed has a merit for the entire server.

Yeah, I've been using Cloudflare for a long time. I have experienced several CDNs. Especially in Asia, Cloudflare is really ideal. (There are some CDN services that do not have of edge server in Asia) After Plesk is built on the shared server, I will make a topic about it. I know the server is located on he.net, so it's the west of the US, so the response from Asia is relatively fast. I already have a server in Japan. Perhaps I will use HelioHost VPS for English sites for the world.

Many users have reported to Discord that their emails are not available. This will not work until the Plesk build is complete. If you were using email in your custom domain, you should consider moving it to another server, even temporarily. (Of course you can make it work on a VPS, but you need to install the mail app) Emails for username@sub.heliohost.org and username@sub.heliohost.us will be unavailable for some time.
-
Because there are users who are interested in VPS on this topic. www.heliohost.org is currently temporarily displaying the maintenance page. This is displayed by switching servers. Due to this effect, the VPS page will not be displayed temporarily. The VPS page is also on www.heliohost.org . If you are interested in VPS you have to wait a bit. Similarly, the donation page cannot be displayed. Administrators who handle these are currently crazy about server maintenance. We users can wait for this progress.

For a while, HelioHost will be mainly VPS. Would it be useful for you to create a topic about VPS? But I would call "don't need! Enter the command!". ⌨️😎

[Solved] VPS Orders: Pay on Facebook 2500 yen
balloons replied to balloons's topic in Escalated Requests
I was contacted by Krydos on Discord. The HelioHost side had a problem receiving Facebook Pay, so I reapplied on the modified VPS page. It has been confirmed that it works properly even from outside the US. I wait for the VPS setup. ☕💻 -
HelioHost lost cPanel at this posting stage. HelioHost will now adopt Plesk instead. The information so far is for cPanel, so you should not apply it to HelioHost shared server. Free domain application in Plesk will be posted in the future after research.
-
AutoSSL update may have stopped due to cPanel outage. (AutoSSL renews the certificate in 2-3 months) If this is correct, you may not be able to browse websites that apply SSL. This needs investigation. If you were using a custom domain, it would be safe to temporarily move it to another server. HelioHost is proposing VPS. I just signed it. In the future, this will be changed to a certificate issuing method mainly for Plesk. I think Plesk supported Let's Encrypt issuance. If you use a VPS, you are free to build it, so you could choose ZeroSSL instead. (I plan to use ZeroSSL with Caddy)

I was Japanese and experienced it yesterday. Check the specs and their prices on the VPS page. Then send this price on the regular donation page. https://www.heliohost.org/donate/ Then post your VPS order on this HelioNet forum. My post (using Facebook Pay)
