When I send / receive mails from my site, the mail says - "Signed by - mysite.com.some numbers.gappssmtp.com" What does that mean? Can I turn it off or change it? How? It just looks very queer.

1. Yes the the Cname works but only without the Subdomaining. Guess that's redundant now. 2. MX records - Do I change the TTL to 3600 or leave it to the default 14400? Which is better? 3. Can I use SFTP even though my site is not on https, or should I stick toftp?

There is no icon nor link for "MX Entry", nor for "Network Tools" in my Cpanel. Both are missing. The "Advanced DNS settings" will also be deprecated. So how do I enter the MX records? Secondly, an A Record was created linking mail.mysite.com to a folder on my site. But that is creating problems as described above and interfering with the Cname record of ghs.google.com. Please help resolve this. Can I point my nameservers back to Cloudflare or should I wait till all these processes are completed? Please let me know.

First, Thanks for all your efforts. Got the site moving finally. Now, more questions - 1. What does localhost.mysite.com do? Is it required or not? Because there is no such entry this time. Do I have to add it or no? 2. Do I or do I not create a subdomain for mail.mysite.com? Because when I create that, it creates a seperate emtry in the Dns records as www.mail.mysite.com, etc. since I already pointed it to ghs.google.com (MX entries not yet added.) So setting up the Google Apps entries are going hunky dory. Simply put, please explain ALL the steps from start to finish of setting up the Google Apps on my site. And please check and rectify where I have erred. Thanks again to all of you.

Done. Ok now. You mean I don't have to add an A Record? It was there earlier. If I do add an A Record will it be right or wrong? Or rather, which is better, ftp.ishoham.com or tommy.heliohost.org? Good, but changed from the earlier version which had googlemail.com instead of google. Plus, no mention of pointing the Cname to ghs.google.com. Isn't that incomplete? What if I just copy my earlier settings, which is better?

Just activated my Account on Tommy. Thanks for the space increase to 1gb. Now what do I do? Just add my files to the public_html folder? I had set up the smtp and made quite some changes in the original domain names too. Will they all get automatically installed with the backup copy given by you or will I have to redo all the stuff all over again? Please let me know. And do I deactivate my Cloudflare Account before I make the changes or is it ok if it stays on? Cloudflare settings will also have to be redirected to Tommy. What is Tommy's server no. please? I am seeing that you have added Cloudflare to the cpanel. Can I access it from there itself or do I have to set that up too before I use it?

Dear Jje, My Advanced DNS Records have finally opened and I have checked Heliohost's A Name Records whixh point to 216.218.192.170, i.e. Stevie's ip. Cloudflare's settings are also the same. Thus, Heliohost's settimgs are also ok, and have not been changed in the recent pat. Both point to the same ip. If Stevie's ip has changed from the above, please let me know so that I may make fresh changes, or you may make them at your end. But Cloudflare shows no page view records after 11.30 am of 23 February 2014.That is approximately when my site went off the radar. Maybe that would nelp you pinpoint the problem and resolve the issue. Your kind help would be appreciated.

Hi Jje, Please bear with me. I am trying to understand the problem. Your help, guidance and co operation would be most appreciated. First and foremost, how did this mix up happen, and how do we prevent it from happening again, since, post Cloudflare, the site was functioning normally until recently and I have not made any recent changes in the DNS settings anywhere? Second, how do we rectify this problem, because my Advanced DNS Settings page just says, "Please refresh this page and try again", but it shows no records. So again, I cannot change anything. Frankly, even if it did, I would not know which record to change to point to Stevie. That brings me back to you. Hence, I request you to please revert back to the earlier settings from your end and restore the site to normal. Your kind help would be most appreciated.

I cannot receive any mails to my site, ishoham.com, via Google Apps. I've already set up the MX Records and Cname to point to ghs.google.com yesterday (around 24 hours now). However, I can send mails properly, but not receive anything. The error that I get is, 550 No such user here. Please check up the MX and Cname Records, or any other records, and rectify any errors I might have made. Your cooperation will be very much appreciated.
