  1. Hello, I have been using my domain a lot, but I don't usually log into my account too often and I recently got an email saying that it must be renewed. This has happened to me before, but I have never gotten a message saying that my account information cannot be found. I only have a week before it is deleted so can anyone help me? My domain is https://babyginge.heliohost.org
  2. Thank you for the help! In case you still want to know, my username is asweeba just like in these forums, and my domain is https://babyginge.heliohost.org
  3. Hello, I have recieved an e-mail saying I have a week to renew my account or it will be deleted. I follwed the link that was given to me in the e-mail, but I just received an error. The e-mail told me I have a week left. Right now, that was 3 days ago, so now I only have 4 days left! Thanks, Stephen
  4. Oh, well then that will work out fine! Thanks!
  5. I want to disable frontpage extensions so I can password protect my directories. But there is a warning saying all of your .htaccess files will be deleted. Are these files important? Or will uninstalling frontpage extensions cause any problems for me? PS: I have SSL installed on my site, if that changes the situation.
  6. Well that's strange, maybe it just took a while for the dedicated IP address to activate or something of the sort, because my website is finally working with SSL!!! The address finally loads with https:// in it!  PS: You did assign me a dedicated IP, you told me somewhere in the first page of this thread. Thank you, DJBob! Thanks to everyone else who helped too!
  7. Thats ok, the warnings are fine. The site is for my class in school. No one really cares if it's not proper, not even my teacher But for some reason, my certificate has incorrect information in it (that's what the browser tells me), and because of this, the site still does not have SSL. The address for it still reads http:// and not https://. I can't figure out what's causing this either. I'm still waiting for the server load to go down so I can try another one.
  8. Anotherwards, you need to buy a cert from someone like verisign. Aren't you able to do it with a self signed too? I don't care if it warns people, I just want the SSL for the website so it doesn't automatically get blocked by certain firewalls.
  9. Yes, I already have one. It says it in my cpanel on the status bar area. Should I remake a certificate with the same name as the server? I might have put in the wrong IP address too, Ill check. Thanks!
  10. Thanks DJBob! It finally works! I got a message saying "Your SSL certificate has been successfully installed to your site." But for some reason, when I connect to the website, It says the certificate chain is incomplete. When I looked at the details, it said the certificate domain name wasn't the same as the website's domain name. Unfortunatly it is right. The certificate domain name is actually the server's domain name (stevie.heliohost.org). I have no idea why it is the server's name, but I don't know how to fix it. Because of this problem, the website still loads as normal http after allowing the certificate.
  11. I've been keeping track on the server load and I have tried to install the certificate every time I check. But unfortunately, the lowest I've seen the server load these past two days was around 15. I'm still keeping a look-out for anything. Here is the installation page. I just picked my domain and installed it. (There is another domain that's identical to mine except it has www. in front of it). (The ca bundle box is empty) Then after it loads to the next page, I see this: Thanks for the help!
  12. Thanks, I really appreciate the help! Also, for some reason, when I install the certificate, I get an error saying "error from ssl wrapper:" And then it fails to install...
  13. Hey thanks! I received an error saying I did not have a dedicated IP, but I saw that you said you escalated it. So Ill just wait until something happens.
  14. Thank you for all of the help, and yes, if I need a dedicated IP, ill do it. And is a dedicated IP a computer with a public IP address that has to be left on? Because I already have one. And also, There is no option saying "Activate SSL on Your Web Site"
  15. Hello, I want my domain to use SSL so it doesn't get blocked as much as normal sites do. I generated a key, a request, and a certificate in cpanel for my domain. But when I go to my domain, it still comes up as http and not https. Can anyone help me? PS: My webdisk doesn't work for some reason either. Thanks! My domain is babyginge.heliohost.org My Certificate: [[REMOVED FOR SECURITY REASONS]]
