Hi I'm new to html and PHP and ended up coming to a point where I have no more knowledge and the Internet solutions don't work... Hi, Through a proxy server, all videos are blocked by denying all mime types starting with video/. I have found that I can rename a video to .docx and then when I download it I can change the extension again, allowing me to watch the video. I would like to have it play in an HTML5 video player instead of having to download it. I have used the following code to do this: <video width='320' height='240' controls> <source src='video.docx' type='video/mp4'> Your browser does not support the video tag. </video> Which works fine on Safari on my computer, however when I try to play it (same file) on iOS I get a broken play icon. Note that when I use a video file with the correct mime type and extension (server side) I can get it to play on iOS. Since I cannot change the mime type back to a video (blocked) how can I get it to play on iOS? I am jailbroken and using iFile I can download the file manually and rename it, which will allow it to play, but it is much faster to just have it play in the browser window. Thanks!
