Snuupy Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 Hey there. Before posting this thread, I've done a search on the HH wiki. I know it says it's "one account per person", but I'm wondering if we're allowed to have one account on Johnny and one on Stevie, just to try the features out and so that we can have the most uptime possible. I currently have an account on Stevie, and I want to experiment with Johnny as well, while keeping an account on Stevie for things that don't need, like Java, ASP.NET, or RoR. I'd also like to do this because it's more stable on Stevie, and the other stuff that doesn't need the features on Johnny can be just left on Stevie, so even when Johnny's down, I still have the basic set of features (HTML/PHP) Thanks, Snuupy Quote
Snuupy Posted July 18, 2011 Author Posted July 18, 2011 Yes, this would be allowed. Would I need to have two usernames then? Quote
cl58 Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 Yes. All accounts are stored in the same database so you cannot have a duplicate username. Quote
Snuupy Posted July 18, 2011 Author Posted July 18, 2011 Yes. All accounts are stored in the same database so you cannot have a duplicate username. And after I create that account, is java automatically enabled for Johnny or will I have to post a request? Quote
cl58 Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 Everything except Java/JSP is automatically enabled. To enable Java, post a request at http://www.helionet.org/index/index.php?showforum=74 Quote
