xwinuser Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 300mm lens and a tripod. I did crop the picture but that did nothing for the detail of the moon's surface. That was exposure time and focal length. Some may, at first thought, believe you should have a long exposure time because you are shooting in the dark but in reality you have to cut the exposure time pretty drastically because you are basically shooting a source of light. nice shot. how did you zoom in that close? you must have either a decent telephoto lens or just cropped it lol Quote
