[Solved] Scripts Need Style

The cPanel/Bluestone Coding scripts (listed below) are in dire need of some design. They really should be designed the same as the HelioHost website, but anything is better than what is is not -- nothing. They are important resources for HelioHost and should look professional, which they do not right now.

For reference, the scripts are as follows:

Guest Geoff

If you'll write the CSS and images needed to redesign the scripts, I'll add that to the scripts.

I'm a poor designer, so I don't think I could create a good design. Sorry.

I got your css/page layout from the page source of the HelioHost Homepage. If you could send me the source code (with the PHP for the forms) of the script files, I could just make static HTML/CSS/PHP pages with the same design as HelioHost.

The back-end is more complex than you think it is. It would be easier to just get the HTML/images/etc from your browser and then create CSS from the static HTML.

iFrames are fine. And it really would be a major improvement. It's little things like that that can have a big effect on your appearance as a good service with a knowledge of websites (after all, this is a website hosting service).

Sounds like a good idea to me. djbob did this with the signup form.

This code needs to go on every script:

<body style="background-color: #F5F1E5;">
...
</body>

Nevermind, looks like Joomla sorts that out for you. ;)

Okay - I've made a new Scripts menu on the HelioHost Homepage. :)

Here are the new links. I put them under Support > Scripts.

http://www.heliohost.org/home/support/scripts/renew

http://www.heliohost.org/home/support/scripts/status

http://www.heliohost.org/home/support/scripts/domain

That's much better. You should also include a description of each script. For example, you could say that the renew script is to reactivate suspended accounts due to inactivity so users know what they are doing before doing it. And, if you really want to improve the forms, the change domain and delete account forms have three fields and the prompts are just listed above. To make it clear what information goes where, the labels should be aligned with the form field like on the register page(s). These aren't as important so if it is impossible or too difficult, it doesn't matter, but it would help. :D
