Kyougi Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3148775 Yay, now I won't have to do work to get my console to work with Linux this time!
HerLoss Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 I get the whole "because I can" thing, but is there any practical reason for putting linux on a console?
Kyougi Posted April 13, 2006 Author Posted April 13, 2006 Well, 500 bucks is a steal for a Blu-Ray player and a computer of those specs, and people were going to do it anyway, but I think the reason behind it is, they force people to buy a bundled HDD.

kikass Posted June 16, 2007 Posted June 16, 2007 linux on ps3?, it was confusing putting it on my p.c:|
Dragonfire Posted June 17, 2007 Posted June 17, 2007 I'm using a simple version of linux, ubuntu. It is quite easy to use and I mainly keep it as a backup os, the actual one that I use being Windows Xp. I first decided to stick with linux and uninstall xp but then after going through a few websites found out that they're really less software available for linux. The best feature is its speed and security and it never gave me any problem since my first use. If you have no idea of how to use linux, then you should get the ubuntu distribution of it as it is really easy to learn how to use it and it is free to download. If you have limited space then [bleeped!] small linux will be the one (but you will have to buy the os).
