Getting started

I'm looking in the options available in the control panel, but don't know where to go to begin creating my pages. I would like a place to insert some HTML and other code. What are the most important features to setup besides the content on my site? Security? Search Engine optimization? Etc? Pretty new to this. Thanks, let me know if you need any of my information.

(Right now Yahoo domains has a placeholder page for me.)

Have you tried the video tutorials provided in cPanel?

You might want to go through the web hosting tutorial at w3schools.

You can install a CMS like drupal or joomla!
