Incidense Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 Hi there, First of all, thank you for your great work! I have some trouble connecting to the ftp server. It keeps reconnecting. ftp.incidense.heliohost.org User: incidens I can't connect tot the file manager through the CP panel either. The site does show up on http://incidense.heliohost.org/ though. Do you have any idea what's wrong? Thnx! Kind regards, Lucas

Incidense Posted March 2, 2011 Author Posted March 2, 2011 Hi there, Good thing you guys fixed the queing problem that occurred yesterday thnx! I still seem to have trouble connecting to the ftp server though. It works every now and than, but most of the time I can't connect. I've tried connecting to stevie.heliohost.org and incidense.heliohost.org. The last one works sometime.. Any clue? Thnx! Kind regards,
Guest Geoff Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 Wait until the server load is down, then connect.
Incidense Posted March 2, 2011 Author Posted March 2, 2011 Wait until the server load is down, then connect. Ok, cool. I will. Thnx!
GentleOz Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 I have this problem aswell....at a time where you think server load should be low it still doesnt connect. Using Filezilla, it makes the initial connection (logs in) but then you get "Waiting for welcome message....." - which seems like server load but.....maybe its the FTP daemon?
Rishi Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 in my cpanel file manager it shows fetching directory components and remains as it is for long time but the site http://rishi.heliohost.org shows up. My username is rishi. Is my problem also due to server load?
jje Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 The server load is 40.00 at the moment - wait until it's at 20.00 or below.
khallows Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 Nice site by the way! Looks interesting. Is that your band or a client's?
