DemonKnightz Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 Hey guys, I set up a new account the other day as my old one was deleted due to inactivity, but i've now been waiting for about 7 days with no luck. I'm hoping it has something to do with the google apps crap I accidentally installed to my domain, but I removed that almost immediately and i've still got nothing to show for it. Dooes anyone know why I can't sign in? Your hosting account at HelioHost has been added to the creation queue. Here is your account information: Username: marbas (note: case sensitive!) Guest Geoff Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 You need to change the nameservers to ns1.heliohost.org and ns2.heliohost.org It will then take up to 48 more hours for changes to propagate throughout the internet. However, if you wish to get started on your site right away, you can edit "C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts", and add the following line to that file (Hint: open it in notepad). 216.218.192.170 demonknightz.com However, keep in mind that this is local to only your computer, just if you are impatient.
DemonKnightz Posted January 4, 2011 Author Posted January 4, 2011 Thanks for that Geoff. Added both to the name.com name servers list, but i'm currently on the work computer, so I don't have access to the files in system32. I guess i'll just wait till everything pops up. =)

Guest Geoff Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 Looks like the site is up. Everything should be OK now.
DemonKnightz Posted January 6, 2011 Author Posted January 6, 2011 Sorry if your account isn't active yet. Accounts may take longer to be activated at the moment. This issue has been identified and escalated: http://www.helionet.org/index/index.php?showtopic=7926 There's no reason to be sorry jje, these things happen. Considering i'm not paying anything to host a site i'm not going to run around compaining because I have to wait a day or two. =) Looks like the site is up. Everything should be OK now. Thanks Geoff, i logged into cpanel last night and uploaded my site, so that's all good now. =) Just having a weird issue that whenever I try and access my site from work i'm getting a error: "Google Error Not Found The requested URL / was not found on this server" But it only seems to be when I try and access the site at work on www.demonknightz.com, at home i'm fine. If i leave out the www though (http://demonknightz.com/) i get a tcp error instead which I brought up here yesterday but seemed to just go away a bit later. =S Link to yesterday's conversation: http://www.helionet.org/index/index.php?showtopic=7952
