Kyougi Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 How does myscrnnm "know" that the 360 will be a better value anyway?
stan92 Posted December 3, 2005 Author Posted December 3, 2005 I think that the 360 would be better than the revolution because if you see the revolution's control it's like a remote control. Won't it be hard to hold? And it's so small, would that be comfortable to hold?
HerLoss Posted December 3, 2005 Posted December 3, 2005 Ever laid on the couch watching tv, remote in hand, flipping through the channels? I can comfortably do that for hours.
Ashoat Posted December 3, 2005 Posted December 3, 2005 Yah, but you usually use one hand for that, you only need to press one button, and you don't need to time your clickings. Personally, I think the XBOX 360 has the best controller. It feels great in your hand. The PS3 has the worst, with those sides sticking out like that.
Kyougi Posted December 3, 2005 Posted December 3, 2005 Well, the back of the Revolution controller (or bottom, w/e) is sort of curved (as seen from screenies) to fit your hand. I think the PS3 controller is just trying to compansate for people with big hands...
Ashoat Posted December 6, 2005 Posted December 6, 2005 Whatever they're trying to do, the controller looks really ugly
HerLoss Posted December 6, 2005 Posted December 6, 2005 I know I wont be getting a PS3 unless madcatz or sony decide to make a compatible controller closer to if not exactly like the dualshock.
Ashoat Posted December 7, 2005 Posted December 7, 2005 I'm going with the 360. Revolution is my second choice. IMO, the PS3 is just bloatware. It has nine cores in its processors, yet eight of them are almost completely devoted to floating point calculations, which are a small part of all calculations for gaming. Pretty much, the PS3 is full of a lot of stuff that do absolutely nothing. The 360 has the best graphics and the such, and the games advantage is switching over to the XBOX. Playstation no longer has such exclusives as Grand Theft Auto and Final Fantasy.  The Revolution is really cool and looks the best. I especially like its old-game emulator feature-magig. But it just doesn't have the range of games that I love.  Anyways, that's my view.
Ali Posted December 7, 2005 Posted December 7, 2005 Neither. I'll wait till the price goes down on both, and I'm waiting for Microsoft to fix the 360 problems. The PS3 looks like a scanner. >.< And, I wait atleast 4 months before buying a console so that I get the good games along with it.

kikass Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 id prefer 360 xbox has always proved to be better then nintendo
HerLoss Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 Especially considering nintendo has proved to completly own microsoft in the console gaming world for years, just based on the fact that microsoft didnt make consoles. That proves that they havent ALWAYS, and there isnt any way to prove that they have since.
Ashoat Posted December 15, 2005 Posted December 15, 2005 Oh comeon, stop nitpicking like myscrnnm >.<
