lappy512 Posted March 5, 2005 Posted March 5, 2005 http://slate.msn.com/id/2103152/ take a look! A MS guy is for Firefox!
GameClaw_268 Posted March 5, 2005 Posted March 5, 2005 Go Firefox!!! I only started using it cause lappy made it the only one that would work on Krazyletter so long ago, and I'm glad he did.
lappy512 Posted March 5, 2005 Author Posted March 5, 2005 thanks don't you think this article is funny that the writer who works for Microsoft uses/likes firefox?
myscrnnm Posted March 6, 2005 Posted March 6, 2005 thanks don't you think this article is funny that the writer who works for Microsoft uses/likes firefox? Well, it's not that surprising. A lot of people use products from thrid parties, rival companies, et cetera. And seeing as IE won't be updated until Longhorn comes out, it is only natural for people to use Firefox. And Microsoft can also learn from Firefox by comparing the two browsers and improving their own.
wee Posted March 9, 2005 Posted March 9, 2005 booo on firefox i dont like it. boo djbob i dont like what he said
calvinator Posted March 11, 2005 Posted March 11, 2005 But still, im sure if he used it for a month and got it all configured, he would like it better. Now that mine is set up right, i like it better.
myscrnnm Posted March 11, 2005 Posted March 11, 2005 Ah yes, what with open source, there are all sorts of advantages. You can make the browser specified to all sorts of specific needs, depending on the stuff that you do most frequently. That is why schools should use Firefox, it can be adapted for educational purposes.
majazac Posted March 31, 2005 Posted March 31, 2005 I'm using Firefox and i just love it... Its way better than IE. BTW can someone answer me if there's a way to configure FF to show the html code for custumized rollbars?
lappy512 Posted April 1, 2005 Author Posted April 1, 2005 roolbars? you mean toolbars? could you be more specific?
majazac Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005 the rolling bar that is on the right side of the browser and that u use to go up and down in the page... Clear enough? I don't know the right nem for this in english
Snowboardalliance Posted April 3, 2005 Posted April 3, 2005 the rolling bar that is on the right side of the browser and that u use to go up and down in the page... Clear enough? I don't know the right nem for this in english scrollbar. I think he is talking about the way IE lets you change the scrolbar colors through css. Maybe you should request an extension (or would it be a theme...)
awesomegamer Posted April 3, 2005 Posted April 3, 2005 wow, that guy really works for MS but hes advertising FF ??? yeah i read it. even if it was better, (which it is, GO FF!) i would advertise IE, because duh! my company would get more money, and i would too! maybe even a bonus for advertising. That guy anit getting a raise for a while...
