15-hour battery for laptop

Samsung SDI Co. has developed a prototype fuel cell for use in laptops that it claims can last upto about 15 hours!!!

What's the use. Just get a desktop. You can sit for days and weeks.

 

it is quite good in offices because they mainly use laptops and have to go to many places and working for hours and hours.

i use laptop all the time and i prefer to use laptop for some reason.

15 hours... that is promising.. but i doubt on it... i guess the battery wil just works on samsung laptops instead of other brand of laptops

I would love to have it because if I'm going down/traveling with my family I could just use my laptop... and those trips are long and if I can't find a place to let it charge, it would serve me both forward and on the return trip. So I like this idea.

15 hours is nice, not including Takeoff and Meals, thats about enough time for a flight to India. Plus I've been in a lot of places where I don't have a chance to charge my laptop, but that's just me. I still can't see this fitting in an ultraportable where it would be ideal.
