samus Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 I've been having HelioHost for almost a month by now. When I went to my site: http://sparkswillfly.org it said this message instead of the usual site: "Ahoy! You're seeing this page because HelioHost has not gotten about to installing and configuring your account yet. This process usually takes 24 hours, and once it is complete your website should show up properly. While the account is being created we suggest taking a look at your control panel."
Albo Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 So.. what happened? Does this type of thing happen often?
Wizard Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 It happens once in a while, and to be honest, I don't remember why. This support request is being escalated to our root admin.
Ashoat Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 Sometimes the script to recompile our httpd.conf file screws up.
Wizard Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 Sometimes the script to recompile our httpd.conf file screws up. What's the fix for that, btw? If it's easy, I'll just SSH in and run it when you're busy.
Derek Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 I'm guessing that problem has been fixed? Because earlier today, any site hosted with Helionet (like Helionet and my site) gave me the Account Queued message, but cpanel worked fine and so did FTP so I didn't really mind.

If it's easy, I'll just SSH in and run it when you're busy. It's pretty easy. First, check if bihourly.php is running: ps aux | grep bihourly If nothing shows up, then run: /root/heliohost_nightly If a bihourly.php is running, try to wait for it to finish.
