[Answered] How to reply using the email alias?

Hi there!

On the plesk panel, I have an email which I use as the main. Inside it I created an email alias that forwards on the main email. I had tested it, and it seems that when someone sent an email to the alias and I need to reply, the main email is the one being used instead of the email alias where it originally the email has sent to. How to configure it out so I can reply using the email alias, if that would be possible?

Edit: I use Evolution email client if that matter.

An email alias just forwards an email to another email address. You cannot send mail directly from it. If you need to send emails from it, then you would need to create the email as a separate email account instead of an alias.
