Power Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 Look at all these nerds... lol... just kidding. I wish I know that much myself. As for my favorite... Since I'm in the process of learning PHP, so Javascript is my top right now.
Ashoat Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 I'd have to say my favorite is PHP, its really easy to use and flexible for its purpose. Javascript is good for HTML page interactivity. Combining PHP, CSS, JS, XML, and HTML always gives the most advanced page, but takes a lot of learning. I have very little experience in C/C++, but it seems to me that they are the most powerful of all 2nd-level programming languages. Oh, and HTML, CSS, XML, etc. are all markup languages, not programming languages.
nilayz Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 Yes... C/C++ can be used to code both high-level programs as well as low machine-level assembly codes. I am now learning JSP (java based version of ASP/PHP) for my college project... but I dun think it would ever land up in my list of favorites.
eTronicGaming Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 What's the difference in xml and html? I don't really get what an xml document is.
Kyougi Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 XML evolved from HTML, allowing more flexibility, less static pages, and advanced functions. XML not only has it's base in HTML, but has alot of other features to it as well.
majazac Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 i'm finally learning how to do a website in php... I'm so happy!!!!
a charmed girl Posted May 17, 2006 Posted May 17, 2006 I know HTML JS and ASP n learning PHP so i would have to say that ASP is the best one so far
majazac Posted May 17, 2006 Posted May 17, 2006 since i don't know nothing about asp and sop far i just know html and php, i'd choose php
WRM Posted May 20, 2006 Posted May 20, 2006 My favorite is PHP. JavaScript is my second, and I geuss Perl 3rd, since it's really similar to PHP. *I hate Visual Basic*
Kronix Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 I definately enjoy using HTML and JS.. I have never tried C# or any of those languages.. but I think HTML and JS are easy to understand and easy to use.
Prashant Posted June 17, 2006 Posted June 17, 2006 Its C++ and Java for me. I like them being OOP (Object Oriented Programming) languages and all the languages that now a days are invented are based on OOP. As for web languages, i don't know of any, but I am making mind to learn Perl and php
