ElGaton Posted December 19, 2009 Author Share Posted December 19, 2009 I need it because I want to create a shared groupware area and want access passwords be transmitted over an encrypted connection. In the future I'll create a Web update service for my programs (my software will send its version to my Web server and a PHP script will return whether updates are available or not), and I want these communications to be encrypted as well.
