Can't log in, account queued.

Hello,

 

I cannot log into my account lllofsiny anymore, and the domain name www.lllofstatenisland.com now returns a message 'HelioHost Account Queued' instead of the webpage. I tried resetting my password, but have not had any luck. Can someone from heliohost please review and let me know what I need to do to get my account active, or at least retrieve my website content?

you need to set your nameservers to heliohost's:

 

ns1.heliohost.org

ns2.heliohost.org

Thank you. I can change the nameserver tonight if necessary, but I don't understand how that is the problem. The current DNS configuration has lllofstatenisland.com pointing to 65.19.143.3 and www.lllofstatenisland.com is a cname for that. 65.19.143.3 was the IP address that cpanel showed as the IP for my site, and it worked for the few months that the site was hosted by heliohost. I am no longer able to access cpanel to check whether that has changed. Is there any reason why I would not be able to log into cpanel or reset my password?

This is the way the ip addresses match to the nameservers.

 

ns1.heliohost.org is 65.19.143.4, and

ns2.heliohost.org is 65.19.143.5

 

I think if you'll point your domain to the heliohost nameservers you'll be ok.

My domain name is showing the same A Records as yours (65.19.143.3) but I also have my nameservers set to heliohost. You need to set the nameservers.

I queried the heliohost nameservers but get no results for lllofstatenisland.com. So while the current DNS servers are pointing it to the 'correct' IP address, I still don't understand how changing nameservers will fix this. I still can't log into my account as well, which tells me that this is more than just a simple DNS issue. My understanding is that if the DNS is pointing to the correct IP for the site, then it shouldn't matter which nameserver is being used to assign the address. The web server at the corresponding IP address should simply receive the HTTP request with the host header and load the appropriate website, provided that the website is stored on the IP address that DNS is saying it is. Here's my DNS results -

Try pointing your domain to the heliohost nameservers and then we can go from there.

Hi,

I had the same problem. Had to register again (worked with same login and domain) and start over again.

Seems that account are deleted a little to fast/easy. Mine was suspended shortly a week before.

Unless you now for sure that her site has been deleted please don't give advice about re-registering. And no accounts aren't to easily deleted. The only reason for deletion is for abuse or forgetting to login within a 30 day period for which you will recieve a warning email.

1) How do I go about doing this? Is this technically a zone transfer?

Since I'm not familiar with your domain name provider I can only give you a basic idea of how to go about it. You should be able to login to your account at your domain name provider and see an option, should be form fields that have ns1: and ns2: beside them. Just type in the heliohosts nameservers in those fields. If ypu don't see any options like that then contact your domain name provider and ask them to do it for you.

To be honest I really don't understand all of the technical aspects of DNS and my attempt at explaining it might be a little off, but I'll be glad to Google that for you.

It's not a zone transfer. You just have add NS record to your existing zone file.

 

You should be able to log in to cPanel from the HelioHost homepage. However, you won't be able to use your domain name without adding the NS records at your registrar.

Hello. I updated the NS records to point to ns1.heliohost.org and ns2.heliohost.org. I'm still unable to see the site.

 

I'm also still unable to log into cpanel from the HelioHost homepage. Can someone please advise me as to why that is? Has my account been deleted? Is there any reason why I wouldn't be able to log into an account that worked just fine a few weeks ago?
