Periodic malfunction of Python scripts

Hi! I have several Python scripts in my cgi-bin and periodically they will all "turn off" and return Error 500s (Internal Server Errors) for an hour or so, and then they'll all turn back on at once. Can anyone tell me why this might be happening?

This is due to server load. Sorry, but there's nothing we can do

 

However, it will get better as time goes on, as we are deleting more accounts than we're allowing to sign up right now.
