There was a problem creating the Addon Domain or Parked Domain

Although I understand that this being worked on I just wanted to point out that the Subdomain function of CPanel also seems to yield a similar problem. For example, adding a subdomain "test" and pointing to a folder "/public_html/test" will yield an error:

Error from domain wrapper: Bind reloading on stevie using rndc zone: [mydomain.co.cc]

However, although the subdomain does not appear in CPanel to be added and does not function as it should, going to subdomain.mydomain.co.cc will yield:

HelioHost Account Queued

Ahoy! You're seeing this page because HelioHost has not gotten about to installing and configuring your account yet. This process usually takes 24 hours, and once it is complete your website should show up properly. While the account is being created we suggest taking a look at your control panel.

Thanks for choosing HelioHost! We wish you good luck with your website.

Sincerely,

The HelioHost Staff

I do not know if this is related to the Addon/Parked Domain, but the error seems to be similar. Just thought I'd bring it up.

Sorry guys, but I'm still on the line with cPanel. They're talking to the QA/Dev folks apparently. I'm doing my best with this issue, but they're being rather stubborn.

Anything on this error?

Error from ssl wrapper: Waiting for httpd to restart..............finished. httpd (/bin/sh /etc/init.d/httpd stop) running as root with PID 20612 httpd (/usr/local/apache/bin/httpd -k stop -DSSL) running as root with PID 20615 httpd (/usr/local/apache/bin/httpd -k start -DSSL) running as root with PID 25932 httpd (/usr/local/apache/bin/httpd -k start -DSSL) running as root with PID 28193 httpd started ok Certificate verification passed

The CRT for the domain ssl.henriwatson.heliohost.org could not be installed. Apache produced the following errors:

Finished Install Process.. Unknown error

I believe that that error is related to the ones above.

Everyone: please note that this error is non-fatal. That means that although it tells you an error occurred, the operation should complete successfully within 24 hours. Please let me know if that is not the case.

Subdomains do not seem to go through. I described what happened in my first post. A subdirectory is created, it seems, and I receive a Account Queue page when I go the specific subdomain, but nothing appears listed as subdomains in CPanel.

I've given it a few days, but I understand you're working on it.

Same problem...

Error from domain wrapper: Bind reloading on stevie using rndc zone: [malmoth.heliohost.org]

And the addon domain doesn't appear in the list. Also, I can try to add it over and over again; it doesn't say it's already active.

Have you tried waiting for 24 hours or so?

I have.

Then I tried to see if fotomore.com does appear in the list, but it doesn't.

And I can try to add it again without getting that "it's already bla bla" warning.

But the weird thing is, just as I check my public_html via FTP, now I can see the fotomore.com directory which has been created today.

Maybe waiting another 12 or so hours would do me good. Things seem to be somewhat in motion..

I'll give you an update in the morning. (GMT+2 over here...)

Okay, so I've figured out the problem is that httpd.conf is not registering the new domains. What I'm going to do is suspend signups and try to rebuild httpd.conf from cPanel data and see if that fixes the issues. This won't be a permanent fix, but it should put all the domains that have already been registered into the system.

It will probably slow down the system a bit, so bear with me on this.
