Sn1F3rt Posted May 10, 2020 Posted May 10, 2020 He's on Tommy. Well, recently Tommy has been experiencing high load. Over the last couple of days, I've had a few Tommy users complaining about Tommy's load. All the more, you're using WordPress. WP isn't recommended here because it is known to cause high server load and that's exactly the reason you're getting 500 Internal Server Errors. Joomla is an alternative CMS, you can consider trying it out.
adityaet Posted May 10, 2020 Author Posted May 10, 2020 Isn't there any way to fix this? Or the only option is to switch to some other CMS?
Luigi123 Posted May 10, 2020 Posted May 10, 2020 I highly recommend it that you should never ever run Wordpress onto our servers! WP is just really badly written, It's the number one cause of weird errors, suspensions, and even Phishing bans. (usually when the hackers set up phishing on your account) A 500 error with WP is almost always due to installing defective, bloated, or simply too many plugins. It’s really terrible and it throws in a lot of errors and also a lot of hacks. We have a lot of users successfully installing Joomla on their sites and that is recommended. You can use other softwares since those are alright than using Wordpress.
adityaet Posted May 10, 2020 Author Posted May 10, 2020 Thank you for your suggestion i will switch to Joomla asap.Is there any way to get more storage? Thanks
Luigi123 Posted May 10, 2020 Posted May 10, 2020 Thank you for your suggestion i will switch to Joomla asap.Is there any way to get more storage?ThanksYou can make a donation of $5 to get double storage. 2 GB is the maximum for per accounts. For additional space, you would need to buy a VPS (which requires a monthly fee) and use that to host your content instead. I would suggest the smallest 50GB VPS if you go this route, but would recommend an extra gig of ram for performance. The nice thing about a VPS though, is that you can run anything you want (you have root access).
