My primay email is gmail for general purpose use, my other email are yahoo and fastmail.

I like gmail and fastmail because I can use IMAP.

Gmail! It's hard to integrate Ymail to email apps unless you pay them

Wow. I hadn't estimated that so many people prefer GoogleMail. Though it is very functional, I'd get worried about the way Google treats your data. I don't like there privacy policy so I'm using GMX. That's an email provider mainly operating in Germany and Austria. It is not very good due to advertising but it seems to be fine with privacy.

gmail is iffy. Although, the video chat and everything is really fun though I never use the actual site - I use apple mail and ichat, so I cant judge interface or anything...

GMail! I had for years a Windows Live ID, but I deleted that account and registered for GMail.

I used Hotmail and well... was used to it. That was before I got the illustrious invitation code for GMail. I was blown away, and then of course it kept getting better and better over the years. Still till this day I use GMail, I think it's been nearly 6 years since I started using GMail and I haven't gone back to Hotmail once.
