We can have free SSL certificate from www.startssl.com authority for personal use (one year limited, but renewal for free). However, due to their stupid policies, they don't want to validate subdomain based hosting, like InstantSSL does. They however issue as many certificate as you want for subdomain, as long as the base domain (heliohost.org) is validated (for the next 90 days). I've asked them to add subdomain based verification email, but they really don't want. They finally asked me if the heliohost.org webmaster could perform the domain validation for me, so I could get a certificate for the subdomain I have. So, I'm wondering if you could do such thing, or, if not, can you forward the StartSSL verification email to us, so we could get the certificate ?
