Having an FTP/Subdomain brainfart....help?

I know there has to be an easy answer as I have forgotten how to configure the FTP on Dreamweaver for both the subdomains I have. I did go into the FTP area and find the correct information for the username and server information, but I think I may not have it pointing to the right file for the specific subdomain. It times out when I test it. Any ideas on what I may be forgetting? Thanks in advance for any help!

Username: cpanelusername (unless you configured a seperate FTP user. If so, remember the @yourdomain part!)

Password: cpanelpassword (unless you configured a seperate FTP user)
