wee Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 What do you think. Do you download songs? Movies? Software? Games?I know I do. Speak up dont be shy voice your oppinions.
Gangsta Posted February 18, 2005 Posted February 18, 2005 you steal!?!?! Well since you get me CDs i support it.
majazac Posted March 31, 2005 Posted March 31, 2005 I do download mp3's... and some games... But usually if I really like the band/game I buy it as soon as I get money
Ashoat Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005 I download mp3s *cough* legally *cough*. i dont buy cds. im really strong-opinioned on this one: we are taught to share since we were kids, and now big corporations are saying its illegal? bad. Â record companies need to get into the new century. they need to find a way to allow online downloading in a way that current mp3 downloaders would agree to.
majazac Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005 I don't buy most of the cds that I download... And I do agree with the sharing... Â In US is good to buy cds... It's cheap... Worse is me in Brazil, cuz I have to pay taxes from the import... *sight*
HerLoss Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005 I'm all for piracy, i mean, my recording studio basically is just a pirated copy of a mixcraft recording program, and I do all my web design using a stolen copy of paint shop pro. That stuff is just plain too expensive. at least 75% of my cd collection is downloaded and burned. Pretty much im just poor, but I dont think im willing to pay upwards of 50 dollars on a video game anymore.
GameClaw_268 Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005 You know, they wouldn't have these problems if they didn't try to charge $200 bucks for them...
wee Posted April 1, 2005 Author Posted April 1, 2005 if things were not so [bleeped!] expensive these days i would have more legit stuff.
majazac Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005 that's true... if things were cheaper 2/3 of piracy would end.
nilayz Posted April 2, 2005 Posted April 2, 2005 I don't know whether I'm politically correct or not... but I support piracy, if I didn't put in the hard work to create that thing.  I regularly download MP3s, DivX and XviDs... eat and sleep torrents... But I would definitely NOT like my work to be pirated.
majazac Posted April 2, 2005 Posted April 2, 2005 That's way i buy the cds/games that i REALLY love... To support the work... But if I just like... Long life to piracy
Kyougi Posted June 18, 2005 Posted June 18, 2005 I've done an essay on Piracy once, too lazy to go over it again, but I support it. Too many greedy corporations these days.
HerLoss Posted June 18, 2005 Posted June 18, 2005 When it comes to music, musicians dont really make that much money after they have to pay to rent a place to gig, pay to have the cd's burned, etc. So if I like the album, I usually buy it. Other stuff, like games and other software, if it costs me more than 50 bucks, [bleeped!] em. I aint payin that much.
Snowboardalliance Posted June 24, 2005 Posted June 24, 2005 I rarely download music, but what I do is not something I would buy. NO ONE LOSES MONEY IF I DOWNLOAD A FEW SONGS. I only do it for random songs that I would NEVER pay for so no one is losing money. If there is a cd I really want, I buy it. Real CDs are better quality and more reliable, plus it just feels better to actually have a CD.
