Email Fowarding[RESOLVED] :D

I want the email I get from my heliohost.org account to go to my gmail account, because i check my gmail account more.

so instead of switching between both email accounts, i just want to use gmail's.

 

So, how can i do this:

I want the mail being sent to my heliohost.org email to go to my gmail account instead. How can i do this??

 

Step by step will be deeply appriciated, or any help at all. tips, etc.

email sender- sending mail to myaccount@heliohost.org > mail from sender sent to my gmail > I get email in my gmail account instead of my heliohost.org account. ?

 

I tried using the email fowarding, but i get this error:

Please help, I've been going crazy trying to fix this, google is not helping me right now.

Uhm... evilhost.heliohost.org doesn't seem to be up and running. In fact, we don't even have an account with that domain name on our servers.

o wow, didn't see that admin@evilhost.heliohost.org on the error page. Until now, I sent the email to the wrong address. oops, lol.

 

I resent the email to evilmonkey.heliohost.org, and neomail received it but this time gmail didn't get a message back. not in spam either.

 

 

My domain Is http://evilmonkey.heliohost.org/ by the way (sorry for the confusion) [still working on the site]

I was able to fix it! yey!

Heres what I did for those who ever have the same problem:

 

What I want to happen:

email sender sends mail to my heliohost.org email account >

email is sent to my gmail account instead and not my heliohost.org account>

I read the message >

I reply >

sender gets back my message that says it's from my heliohost.org account and not my gmail's.

 

If this is what you want to be able to do read on:

 

How to do it:

In the cpanel, go to "fowarders" then go to "add fowarder" and type in the email address of your helihost.org email account you want to use. Then go to to the "foward to email address" and type in the email you want to receive your mail from, (i.e. account@gmail.com, the email acc. you want all your heliohost.org mail to go. ) Lastly, go to the "advanced options" and click in discard (this deletes the mail that goes to your heliohost.org email account, but a copy is sent to your other email(i.e. the account@gmail.com acc.) if you want two copies then don't click discard)

 

Next go to your other account's site (i.e. mail.gmail.com) and log in then go to the "settings" then go to "accounts" then "add your email address", that's it, all you have to do now is verify.
