No you can't give other people the same kind of hosting that you receive, but if you want to go through the trouble, you could set up a subdomain for each person and put their content on it.

If you want to host people, you will have to buy your own server, and do something similar to what djbob has done with helionet. "just hosting" people isn't going to just happen.

You can host people if you purchase a reseller plan or higher from a parent host. I would suggest checking http://www.webhostingtalk.com for more information on this matter.
