Hi guys,

I hate to admit it but I'm in over my head here. I have a site that I created five years ago that I want to reupload. The code is complete it's just that in the last five years I've forgotten everything about FTPs. It's starting to feel like what might take you five minutes would take me five days. Anyone willing to help? I can send you all of the relevant files and log-in information - I just need this thing back up before the end of the week.

Thanks very much in advance!

There are really nice GUIs for ftp on PC and Android now, your server name is <your server>.heliohost.org

Your login name is: your cPanel username

Your password is: your cPanel password.

The port is the default FTP port.

The best was to upload is with the cPanel file manager, you can upload your site as a archive and extract it in the file manager

Try this:

Download filezilla at https://filezilla-project.org/

Then use these settings:

host: johnny.heliohost.org

port: 1373

protocol: SFTP

logon type: normal

user: mextri

password: <same as cPanel password>

Also, be careful giving out your username and password. Heliohost admins will never need or ask for your password. In this case it appears a helpful user is willing to upload your files for you.
