Alert Posted July 20, 2007 Posted July 20, 2007 Hello. I am using a free ad-based plan, but I noticed that there were no ads on my site. Is there a problem with the ads? Just wondering, -Alert
Demi:Pulse Posted July 20, 2007 Posted July 20, 2007 The advertisements usually will come up in a few hours after activation. It is completely normal.
Quantum Media LLC Posted July 20, 2007 Posted July 20, 2007 Actually, ads should be on there when the site is made. If you go to account status at the top of your control panel (it has the heliohost logo above it) click on that and see what type of account you have. My guess if you might have added a post for host to the account for a month, or there is something wrong with the ads.
Demi:Pulse Posted July 20, 2007 Posted July 20, 2007 Strange, 'cause my ads just came up after a little while (maybe when it was verified?)
mxrider Posted July 21, 2007 Posted July 21, 2007 Are you using Firefox with the adblock extension? Or some other ad blocking program
kyle Posted July 22, 2007 Posted July 22, 2007 Strange, 'cause my ads just came up after a little while (maybe when it was verified?) It couldn't be what you just said. Because you cant use your account until it is verified by djbob. And like RK said, the ads should automatically be there. Also, to answer your little title question, there is ads. Thats how heliohost makes money.
Alert Posted July 22, 2007 Author Posted July 22, 2007 Oh yeah, nice call mxrider. I'll check it with it off. Though once it did just show code, but that was only for like an hour. Yeah, it shows up now. Nevermind
