nilayz Posted July 6, 2005 Posted July 6, 2005 I don't think DA belongs to this list... Kazaa, Bitorrent, P2M, eMule, etc. all are file sharing programs, whereas DA is used to download stuff of websites or FTP servers. I don't know if a newer version allows P2P, but as far as I know, it isn't for that purpose.
HerLoss Posted July 6, 2005 Posted July 6, 2005 Well, why bother downloading p2m when I can use my trusted WinRAR to split up the files and email them to myself? lol.
majazac Posted July 6, 2005 Author Posted July 6, 2005 oh, HL... The pont is to get a file you don't have and then download it... not what you said...
HerLoss Posted July 6, 2005 Posted July 6, 2005 But the whole idea is a shared mail box with all kinds of random files sent to it. All the program does is archive the files in volumes and emails them. BUT, enough of me being a pain in the [bleeped!]... (hehe, get it, butt? [bleeped!]?)
majazac Posted July 6, 2005 Author Posted July 6, 2005 sort of... i guess that you could store files this way, but the main idea is download anothers person file in an easy way
HerLoss Posted July 6, 2005 Posted July 6, 2005 *raises both hands up in the air with an "I give up" kind of expression*
Dragonfire Posted August 5, 2006 Posted August 5, 2006 i used to use netpumper then later discovered it has some bug or something so I switched to flashget ... its nice .. the first download manager i used was star downloader
