kyle Posted July 14, 2007 Posted July 14, 2007 Is there a plan where I can use that doesn't include the ads? Or since I have a joomla, could I put it in the section that says Advertisement?
Quantum Media LLC Posted July 15, 2007 Posted July 15, 2007 Here's a list of all Heliohost's plans... http://www.heliohost.org/home.html
kyle Posted July 15, 2007 Author Posted July 15, 2007 Okay so I was looking at the Ads Unlimited one, whats does it mean? Like is that without the ads? Also, whats banner ads?
Quantum Media LLC Posted July 15, 2007 Posted July 15, 2007 Ads Unlimited: I highly doubt that you have a website that would fit that criteria. Basically, from what I understand, you have to have an existing website that has high bandwidth. As far as the ads, that is something that djbob would have to answer. Banner Ads: Usually its a program thru Google AdSense to where a person or company can get ads placed on their sites to generate money. DJBOB does this to try to help cover costs that he incures with upkeeping of the server, domain names, and bandwidth. All ads thru Heliohost are at the top of every page in your site unless you request custom ad placement or do the Post for Host plan.
1337 Posted July 15, 2007 Posted July 15, 2007 There's the posting plan, which requires you to make 25 posts per month to get ad-free hosting.
kyle Posted July 16, 2007 Author Posted July 16, 2007 I like 1337's idea. How would I purchase that? And also, are there anyother requirements except for 25 posts a month?
awesomegamer Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 Click on "Store" at the top. Follow instructions there. Basically you buy the hosting package, then you use the item. DO NOT CHOOSE RENEW. Choose renew every other time except the first time.

If you dont have an account thru heliohost, then use new.
