Everlast7
The new internet explorer is the best if you ask me. However, since I use XP instead of Vista now, I use Firefox.

Van
Firefox wipes the floor with most other browsers. IE is just a piece of crap that only runs on Micro$oft and is full of security holes. Opera is almost as good (it's certainly a lot faster) but doesn't have as many cool addons (rock on Gspace, ForecastFox and leetkey!). Agreed. With the vast variety of plugins available for FF, there is no reason why you would choose any other browser. I have plugins for just about everything I can think of. Opera is not necessarily a bad browser, but some online services don't support Opera. On the other hand, there many services that can only be used by FF users.  I run Vista with FF installed so I have both IE and FF. All in all, it's not a bad combo to have!  - ArceRC - Van
Wizard
Firefox, Opera's a close second. Opera lacks some features because it's designed to be fast and light.
Van
Firefox, Opera's a close second. Opera lacks some features because it's designed to be fast and light. But even then, similar to FF, Opera has numerous plugins available for download on their website. In addition, Opera supports most Netscape plugins; that would come in handy for people transferring browsers or ISPs. These plugins range from media players and viewers to organizers, and the list doesn't stop there.  Heh, it sounds a lot like FF.   - ArceRC - Van

Godhand
I like fire fox because its fully customizable and not to mention its basically suits my everyday needs. And if I need something for an add on I can just go right to the site and look for what I'm looking for. Not to mention it seems to run smoother on my computer than internet explorer. I know that with all my add ons its still faster to run firefox than use internet explorer. But also note this is talking about a computer that has over 1.5gigs of ram I don't think 50mb would make that big of a difference.

foxxyD
I don't understand the firefox hype. Basically, I see a bunch of people advocating for it for the sole reason that "everybody else does it." I've always been a huge fan of IE, and I still am. The newest release has fixed many of the safety issues, and frankly it loads faster than firefox. That's basically all that matters to me. So, I'm an IE fan.
