mushroomz Posted May 3, 2007 Posted May 3, 2007 Well, if you live in a cockroach infested house, then this may relieve you of your troubles. A museum in Houston is offering to by cockroaches for an exhibit for 25 cents each. I am no way affilliated with the museum! Nitros Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 Error. Yeah, I got an error too. I think i've only seen one cockroach in real life, and I think it was in 7th grade.
awesomegamer Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 I don't have an infestation but those big American roaches always find a way in my house at like midnight and are gone in an hour or two.
Quantum Media LLC Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 They should offer more if they are from new york... They got some HUGE cockroaches there
AJKING Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 Wow! Thats a good way to get money lol, but un-hygienic
Geou Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 That's kinda freaky... I wonder what the staff's reaction will be in someone brings in like a thousand roaches.
awesomegamer Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 If they are a family, they'd call Social Services : )
karath Posted July 23, 2007 Posted July 23, 2007 I have seen something like 100 cockroaches in my life...
Andrey Posted July 23, 2007 Posted July 23, 2007 I got error for the link, but that is wierd 25 cents is a lot per one roach. If a family lives in a highly contaminated roach house and brings in 500 roaches from that house to the museum they will get $3,125 Thats a lot of money, if u ask me.

Then there is going to be a new profession: Cockroach hunting. Dunno about you, but it sounds pretty rewarding if you catch 5000 cockroaches a day.
Bios Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 yeah but roaches are pretty disgusting i wouldn't fancy being a roach hunter but i suppose you could breed them you know cos theyre supposed to carry all those eggs in em catch a couple kill em wait for the eggs to hatch then kill another couple and keep on going till you get loads of them then cash em in i suppose, i woulnd't fancy running about houses though trying to put them in tins and stuff though.

Well, you know what the saying is... if you don't have anything to do, well, you have to something, even if it is revolting.
rod91 Posted August 6, 2007 Posted August 6, 2007 Well, I found an alternate link: http://around-the-world1.blogspot.com/2007...o-buy-1000.html I never knew houston was in the UK, but w/e. And it's only for the first 1000 roaches, so they're only forking out $250 Nyah-nyah
MildlyHotPeppers Posted September 1, 2007 Posted September 1, 2007 I'm running em out of business. They'll regret the day they offered to pay ME to catch roaches in my completely infested house.
