awesomegamer
Should religion be at public schools?
PhoenixFlame512
I voted yes, but only if it is during free time and the students go outside. I believe that religion should not interfere with everyday school life.

Korps Commander
Schools should never discuss religion as the curriculum. Religion is a VERY touchy subject, and may spark some violent debates..............

awesomegamer
thats why i think people should never say it because my friend was like "i dont care about the pope, stop telling me about him" and to think he was sent out of class for it! Korps Commander
Your friend was absolutely correct. If somebody doesn't care about the pope, why talk to him about it?
awesomegamer
yes because obviously the pope is not his religion, but that cant break friendship, or even school discussion, thats why i dont like religion in school.
majazac
NO. Freedom of religion. You should decide what you follow and not be punished for not believe in the religion tought
GameClaw_268
Unfortunantly, religeon and government co-exist to control the masses, and make up consequinces for doing things... government's is just assured. Its pretty hard to completely separate church and state... unless you're Karl Marx.
awesomegamer
if you notice, many things in government are based on rules in religion.
majazac
that's true. But freedom of religion should be respected. My country is known to be one of the most catholic countries in the world, but we respect religions like budism, protestantism, wicca and so one. We even got a special religion that appeared with the mix of the african religion brought by the slaves and catolicism. Every religion are respected. Altough some institutions (like my college) are ruled by priests, the religious part are optional
myscrnnm
if you notice, many things in government are based on rules in religion. Yes, I expect so. Perhaps we should change some of our laws. I mean, despite freedom of religion, I think that not all of us should have 2 suffer under the whim of this religion stuff.
