Quantum Media LLC Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 ok, on my website, http://www.diddlemybug.com all my music vids are from youtube and are in .flv format. If i want to watch them on my computer aside from my website i use flv player (google it) and to play them on my website i use a sss (server side script) or you can search google for "play .flv files on your webpage" if you happen to see a video you like on youtube.com and you want to save it highlight the url of the video and go to www.youtubex.com and follow the instructions there on how to save it to your computer.
Dragonfire Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 There is an easier way of doing it now. There's this firefox extension that lets you do it. I did find a free .flv player but no free flv convertor. Please help me out.
Dragonfire Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 The format in which I download the video file using YoutubeX is different and my media player doesn't support it. What should I do now?
Quantum Media LLC Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 There is an easier way of doing it now. There's this firefox extension that lets you do it. I did find a free .flv player but no free flv convertor. Please help me out. I FOUND ONE!!!! it's called RivaEncoder.... it was originally used to MAKE .flv files. But it uses the same encoder/decoder thats used to make the mpegs. I have it on my website and here is the link that describes how to make a .mpg with it... http://www.videohelp.com/forum/archive/how...pg-t259578.html This will tell you how to convert it.... http://www.diddlemybug.com/riva.exe the link to the program mentioned in the link above Any questions feel free to hit me up
Dragonfire Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 Check this program out. It lets you save files directly from youtube in a more widely used format i.e. avi. The name of this program is Youtube Downloader and you can get it from http://www.youtube-d.com/
Pythonet Posted August 9, 2007 Posted August 9, 2007 You can download youtube videos from this website directly keepvid.com and if u want to convert flv to any other video extension then use total video converter which provides a greater range to convert ur flv video into any format you want to.
