Yes, just because you choose to use the airline as a form of transportation doesn't mean you should have your privacy rights stripped of you. The majority of airline passengers should be given privacy rights to some extent.

well its maditory by the country its in most times. because the country or state or whatever they go to dont want the bad people. all airlines do is treansport them. why would they care?

They do have rights, but the airline, being an independant bussiness, says that you have to do what they say, or walk to your destination. A bussiness doesn't have to serve ANYONE... unless it's funded by the government... then the government gets to set the rules.

and the person has a right to choose which service and wether or not to do it at all. they can still check your private car between states and countries.

true, but state laws and country laws may change. If you are carring 20 tons of marajuna across the state border, they have to have some way of catching you. Now, they have to have a search warrant or they can't use it against you in court, and you'd be free to go. They can deny you of service or passage though.

I'm in favor of check ups with dogs and devices, but is just humiliating to have youir luggage all messed up. And sometimes it don't fit in again, like the tuna in the can...
