mushroomz
Go on Myspace..there is a ton of techno people on there. And you can just listen there and decide if you like or not. And look in their friend's list for more techno artists. http://www.myspace.com/djpreach

Prashant
You want Techno or Trance??? Barcode Brothers and Eiffel 65 are a few good DJ's of Techno. In Techno style Trance (Industrial Trance), ATB is the best. http://www.last.fm is also there which is a social radio network and you can listen to all tracks and download a few for free. By this way you can yourself decide what you like and what not. If you want to know about trance, I can tell you a lot
Alert
there are a lot of techno ish songs on Newgrounds. I personally made a Drum N Bass (maybe techno, who knows) song. Newgrounds Audio my song (epic end. starts slow but picks up in like 30 seconds) Now, Im not saying this is the best or anything, cause all the audio was submitted by people. But, you can look around to see what you like or whatever. If you are looking for like popular artists or whatever, I dont really know. But, maybe if you find a site, you might be able to ask people. mushroomz
There's this good techno song (actually, it's more like trance), I'm not sure how old it is, but it's called La La La Girl. You can sample it here.. http://www.juno.co.uk/products/233988-01.htm
andy
Have you tried: http://www.jamendo.com/en/tag/techno/ You can stream for free or download from their bittorrent trackers (you need a bittorrent client obviously). They provide MP3 (200kbps) or higher quality ogg vorbis (300kbps) What more could you want? Andrey
Search for these artists on Limewire: Enigma Enya (not techno but same idea) Cascada Plumb (a good song of here is Cut) 4 Strings Ian Van Dahl Natasha Bedingfeild Paul Oakenfold  Search for these songs: Bugbear Tracking Treasure Down Dance4life Relieve My Pain York Piece of Heaven Ready Steady Go Some of these songs/artists are Techno, Electronica, Dance, Rave, and Trance. They sound the same and just as good so it doesn't matter. If you would like I can attach some of my songs.

awesomegamer
If you like tripy techno trance try Infected Mushroom. they have a few good ones, but I delete about 3/4 after download. There are many sub genres.
