without even watching the video, i can tell you that true Christians are good people...they go out of their way to help others...they also go out of their way to show others how to be good people...

Yes, what I meant is that they are people who interpret the bible literally. I have seen some people change for the better when they convert to Christianity. But tis a pity that they have to be lied to and told they we be punished by a bad man if they don't get their act together. Such a thing is childish. My only reason to support it is so that meybe some homeless people who know nothing, may not turn to crime. Other than that the bible is one of the worst books ever made by a bunch of greedy politicians in the 400th century.

I couldn't agree more. To me, the bible is a book that was writen to control people back then. Also, it is a MANS interpretation of what God said. For all we know, Jesus smoke marijuana and slept with men. Who knows.

Conservative/Fundamentalist Christians are morons. Always trying to force people to their religion regardless of other's belief. There is no respect, no love, no kindness, only hypocracy. Sure, they go out of their way to help people, but they go out of the way to also help people who do not want to be helped, people that don't believe in exactly what they believe, people of other religions. Thanks guys for telling me that I'll go to hell! I'll see you there too!

 

Generally, liberals are better than this. Liberal Christians don't put up the same crap as Fundamentalists.

 

And about the bible, we have no proof that it was originally created to control people, however, the Roman Catholic church in the past re-wrote God-knows-how-many parts in the past to do so.

To continue the debate, I would like to bring about the topic of mithriasm. Mithriasm is a religion that institutes all the basic storys of christianity but was established well before the time of jesus.

It is religion that causes many of the great controversies between the different countries.

 

And if you are a Christian that shawns upon the Muslims for their beliefs you should know the world thinks the same of you. Christians were the first to carry out "Holy" attacks.

My point was that it is the loudest and stupidest muslims. And I don't know about where you live, but everybody in my state, seems to fit under that christian fundimintilists catagory of yours.

Most people are liberals, in my area.

People have become more independent. People no longer have to make extensive contact with other people. Because of this, people become apathetic. It's understandable.

I'm a Christian, and I'm just laughing at this topic. It's so funny. There are so many misconceptions about Christianity, and this is living proof.

First off, God does not control all Christians, contrary to popular belief. We have complete control of ourselves, and we are not puppets, or tied to the Bible. I could very well run out and shoot someone. I won't be struck down by lightning once I do so, and even if I did, I could still go to heaven. It wouldn't be very nice, but I could still go to heaven. God forgives all. There is a book that I love reading written by an atheist who converted and became a Christian. It is an excellent book, because he was an atheist reporter, and wanted to investigate God and find facts that would disprove the fact that God exists.

I find it kind of depressing that Barack Obama has to convince voters that he is Christian first, Patriotic second. That's sad, and unconstitutional!
