Quantum Media LLC Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 I prefere winamp. You have better control over your playlist, library, and equilizer without having to click all over the place. and it runs smoother than WMP. I also like the visualizations
arunsonnet Posted March 19, 2007 Author Posted March 19, 2007 I like Gom coz it can play divx, xvid files with inbuilt codecs. That means u dont have to install so many codecs
Kyougi Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 I prefer mplayer for Videos and AmaroK for music. mplayer supports everything Windows Media Player does and-then-some, while AmaroK has some pretty slick features.
Mystical Water Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 Well i think Windows Media Player 11 is the best media player due to its new features which have the ability to increase and decrease the base and well i even like it because we can change the colour of its interface according to what we want.

With most media players you can adjust the equilizer

Most good media players have skins.
Mystical Water Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 Well i think yes for sure, but still the new base and features of windows media player 11 rock the party.
Dragonfire Posted March 29, 2007 Posted March 29, 2007 The problem I found with wmp 11 is that the minimize, maximize and close buttons do not appear properly on the new theme I installed. Everything else works fine. And one more thing I think that you can add skins to wmp.
Laurens Posted May 9, 2007 Posted May 9, 2007 I use iTunes for listening to my songs and WMP for syncronizing with my MP3-player. I don't like WinAmp because I don't like the skins.
Quantum Media LLC Posted May 10, 2007 Posted May 10, 2007 well, unfortunately, vista come with wmp11, and it is the only thing compatible with my media player except for the software that comes with it, which sucks.....
Dragonfire Posted May 14, 2007 Posted May 14, 2007 Real Player is also quite good. But only use it to play .rm files cuz windows media player doesn't support it. Otherwise, I just use windows media player.

Otherwise, I just use windows media player. For playing .rm files other players , u can download free "real alternative",so that the purpose of real player is solved and u can uninstall it.
