ashrafjp Posted January 12, 2016 Share Posted January 12, 2016 Hi, I have been waiting approx. 6 days for my site to launch, on "Johnny" server.So, I created a tiny app (basically based on .bat) that checkes the site every 2 hours..I just want to confirm this should not cause large consumption of resources on your side.Thanks! See http://www.helionet.org/index/topic/22929-queued-ashrafjp/Try to clear your cache and flush you dns cache if you see the queue page. And a ping shouldn't cause much load. However, it won't give you an accurate view of your site.If the server is down (which can happen with Johnny), it will give you a down result.Also, if you DNS cache has a bad entry, it won't ping correctly.
