you ever hear about parallel universes? it kind of has to do with what you stated about the universe being infinitely big...if it is infinite, then there must be an infinite number of earths out there...and there must also be an infinite number of "you" on the earths..and there must be an infinite number of "you" on those earths that are living exactly the same life you are...

so somewhere in this infinite universe(assuming that it is infinite),not only is there someone exactly like you, but also someone who is you but with different hobbies, profession, personalities, likes and dislikes, etc...

haha, a bit confusing and crazy, huh?

No, I think you nailed it on the money, I thought about that, just didn't connect it to the whole parallel universe thing. I started the post thinking in an infinite universe their must be infinite everything. Since their is not infinite life on Earth theiir must be life out their. Thats my opinion anyways.

P.S. just thinking, that their would be civilizations out their with infinite intelligence. In an infinite universe their must be a civilizations dumber, smarter, and just as intelligent as us. Their also must be civilizations smarter, dumber, etc. than them. So if yo really think about it their are infinitely dumb civilizations out their to.

I just hope we discover the civilization with infinitely hot girls first. :D

I remember watching an episode of start trek where they were stuck in a parallel universe where they kept shifting from universe to universe experiencing each different option of a situation.

I am not sure if this actually possible or real, but i do believe there is other life out there. Humans, i am not sure but there has to be other types of life such as microbes and stuff like that.

Do you think there is life on europa or mars?

i think it's possible...it seems that there's evidence of water on those two heavenly bodies...and even though it might seem unlikely that something could be alive in such harsh environments, they have found living things in the coldest parts of the arctic and the deepest and hottest parts of the oceans here on earth...so yea, i think it's possible...

Well they have found out that when a asteroid impacts Titan it heats up water which would provide the best possible conditions for life to happen.

I agree with kalamarko. But still I think there is, what about the discories on Mar and the moon? And the other planets? We don't know how big the galexy is, so how do we know that theres no one else?

We do know how big the galaxy is. Look at the video I provided in the astronomy section. Corny, yet the facts are fairly accurate.

And how big it is?

what are you all, tards?

You may be right that we don't know the EXACT size of the galxy, but considering it's size we have a fairly close answer.

How do we know, I'm not completely sure(I don't know that much about astronomy), but don't say that we don't just because you don't think we do. But from what I get out of it we use the shift of light and angles from stars that are in the galaxy to determine it.
