I think it would be a neat idea but also poeple could flood the forum too because people are bent on getting the most post. it woulnd't be considered spam but flooding is just as bad.

floding is not double posting i mean when you make a ton of new threads that have a subject but you never intend for them to be answered and youll never reply to it.

okay i like the idea of threatening them, and why dont we ask djbob to make it, because at the end no one looses but no one wins. They just win the ability to have a lot of posts.

How about intellectual debates? I can help people on the orginization for the debates. Whichever side "wins", i.e. gets most votes gets thirty or so points.

It needs to be a wide topic but one were it is not to justifiably veer of on.

 

Like modern science:

we could talk about:

evolution

physics

astronomy

etc.

I do how ever like the debate idea, that is the general direction I would like the topic to move in. Every forum I go to everyone seems to enjoy the debate section, including me.

I think we should. Because if they admin, Djbob, starts the topic then everyone has the advantage of winning. And I dont think that Djbob should play the little contest thing, because he will be starting it.
