Dragonfire Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 I know that it only works on firefox and I even know that you need to have greasemonkey installed to do that. Do you know any scripts that add all the members of one community or all the friends of one person
Dragonfire Posted March 29, 2007 Posted March 29, 2007 hey I found this cool website that has lots of mozilla scripts. This is the url : http://www.orkutrix.com. It also has other software for download for orkut.
Maxdamantus Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 Check4Change DisableBackspaceNavigation Download Statusbar DownThemAll! GetVideo HostIP.info Geolocation Plugin Image Zoom (Doesn't seem to work with right click and wheel on Linux ) President Bush Countdown Web Developer (This is good for Devs, you can edit the HTML or CSS on any page live, rather than editing it on your host, saving it, then reloading it to see if it's right) Those are my favourite ones I have.
Mystical Water Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 Wow cool. Thanks for the help and yeah does the tricks seem to work over Internet Explorer 7 cause i have never tried them before?
Dragonfire Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 hey, is greasemonkey an add-on itself or do you have to add add-ons on greasemonkey? If it is an add-on itself, its my favorite one, well actually its the only one I have used.
kalamarko92 Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 My favorite is VideoDownloader. It downloads videos from YouTube, Google Videos etc. kalamarko92
1337 Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 Greasemonkey is a user script manager. It manages and runs the scripts, they don't do stuff on the pages itself. The scripts for Greasemonkey are the things that actually do stuff on the webpage. (think of it as an extension for an extension)
Dragonfire Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 Oh, so do you mean to say that greasemonkey is not the add-on but is the program required to make the add-ons or scripts work. Are there any other programs like greasemonkey? Waiting for reply.
Kyougi Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 GreaseMonkey allows you to use custom client-side JavaScript that you can define yourself. Oh, so do you mean to say that greasemonkey is not the add-on but is the program required to make the add-ons or scripts work. Are there any other programs like greasemonkey? Waiting for reply. Nope, not for Firefox. Opera has User JavaScripts built-in though.
1337 Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 And if you're wondering about my favorite extensions: Adblock Plus (no more ads!) Gmail Notifier (self explanatory) DownThemAll! (download manger/accelerator) StumbleUpon (Allows you to "channelsurf" interesting sites on the web based on your preferences) GSpace (make use of that 2.8 GB of Gmail space for using it as file storage)
Dragonfire Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 Do all these extensions only work on mozilla firefox? Isn't there any patch for IE that make them compatible on Internet Explorer 7.0? Waiting for Reply.
oradoe Posted April 5, 2007 Posted April 5, 2007 But people say that there are much more extens for FF than IE
