Still prefer Mozilla Firefox, wasn't made by Microsoft and is stable, and not tied into the actual kernel system, so viruses are harder to kill your system if you use Firefox.

I'd use Firefox over IE anyday.. I like firefox so much better.. more features and more stable

It doesn't use that much memory, and it isn't inclined to pop-up every now and then IF you have a virus... internet explorer keeps popping up

I kid you not, my Firefox is currently using about 150mb of my virtual memory :/

It is a bit of a memory addict, I'm sure they'll find away around patching it someday soon.

Hah, if Firefox was the one most commonly used, we'd be complaining more about Firefox and less about IE

In Vista, everything runs in userspace. Nothing has direct access to the kernel and hardware.

I think that everyone is forgetting about opera. If your argument is safe and light, opera is the answer. FF is just so [bleeped!] customizable and looks nice.

I've only mentioned Opera in every other post I've made. Every extension that I used in FF is a built-in feature in Opera :P

I used to use Opera, it was good. But I'm still sticking with IE. It's less memory consuming with my pretty cheap computer. Same goes with the reason for not using FF.
