dj123w1 Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 To make ease of running a server and its services that come along with it, I believe you guys, Heliohost, should install Cloudflare on Cpanel so that all websites are protected from attacks and fraud. Cloudflare helps websites load faster and secure them, so that everyone can have security on their website. Everyone will have the opportunity to have an SSL certificate from Cloudflare so there will be no need to purchase one. It also has a wealth of apps to connect the viewer with the management for help. It has a wealth of benefits for both customers and owners of Heliohost, as it produces better service for users, and upgrade services and value for owners and the experience for everyone. CloudFlare should be installed for everyone on Cpanel.
wolstech Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Cloudflare is supported but needs to be set up manually. We were supposed to get a cpanel extension for it, but Krydos never got around to it since he is busy and a bunch of other things decided to break. Seeng we're doing a bunch if updates to Johnny, maybe now would be a good time to add it. Either way, this post will serve as a good reminder that it still needs to be installed. 1
dj123w1 Posted June 16, 2015 Author Posted June 16, 2015 Thanks for the info. If you guys could add cloudflare soon, it could upgrade the services you provide for your customers. Also it will help Heliohost support team, and communication between the customers. If you guys decide to upgrade to cloudflare, it would be best to utilize the apps that are there to upgrade the support and forum services.
wolstech Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 If we add CF, it would be to increase availability and perceived speed of our servers. I agree that we could benefit from it though, especially for those on Johnny, where high load often causes lag and downtime.
