Hi all.

I'd like to know why I can deploy by myself a website written in PHP and cannot do the same for a website written in JAVA/JSP. Is in your TO-DO list make it possible?

Thank you

My understading is that this is because of how tomcat works...war files have to be configured usjng a method that's global to the whole server, so we can't easily for security reasons. We'd need some type of scripts to allow such, if that's even possible. There's no plan to implement this at the moment.

Have you considered developing your program in another language? Johnny supports numerous other languages, and none of those require this.

No problem with this policy; I just deployed something written in PHP, I use also Java because I'm trying to learn some Java features I'm not so skilled in.
